General Overview

The appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO) in the public sector is required under the new EU data protection regulations. 

The responsibilities of this new and challenging role necessitates knowledge of cyber threats, risks, data breach management, secure design and secure by default principles, privacy compliance, and the GDPR's legal framework.

This I-RAB Certified course will provide practical guidance on the implementation of data protection legislation (GDPR) and privacy, information management, risk management, and data security and protection (GDPR).

Certification

This course includes a two-hour written test.

Using the I-RAB methods of continuous assessment and evaluation, participants must demonstrate that they have met the learning and enabling objectives.
